Armani Hotel Dubai unveils a new chapter in the heart of Burj Khalifa
160 rooms and suites will form part of the refreshed guest experience
DUBAI – Armani Hotel Dubai is set to enter a new chapter with a comprehensive transformation of the landmark property inside Burj Khalifa.
The renewal will preserve the design philosophy and understated elegance originally envisioned by Giorgio Armani while introducing newly designed guest rooms, dining destinations and enhanced facilities. The transformation will be unveiled in phases, beginning in January 2027, with the hotel scheduled for a full reopening in March 2027.
Located within one of Dubai’s most recognisable architectural landmarks, Armani Hotel Dubai opened in 2010 as the world’s first Armani Hotel. It was personally envisioned and designed by Giorgio Armani, bringing his distinctive approach to architecture, interiors and hospitality to Downtown Dubai.
The project has been conceived as an evolution of the hotel’s original identity rather than a departure from it. Its renewed spaces will continue to centre on refined simplicity, discreet luxury, personalised service and carefully considered materials.
Phased reveal
The first phase will see the newly renovated ballroom and event spaces unveiled in January 2027. This will be followed by the refreshed rooms, dining destinations and broader guest experience, with the full reopening planned for March 2027.

The transformation will extend across several areas of the property, including rooms and suites, restaurants and other dining destinations, the spa and fitness facilities, ballroom and event spaces, as well as pool and outdoor areas.
Existing Armani/Casa furnishings will remain part of the interiors, maintaining a direct connection with Giorgio Armani’s original vision. The renewed spaces will continue to incorporate the principles associated with the Armani aesthetic, with attention focused on design, materials, atmosphere and detail.
The hotel said the refreshed property will bring together Italian design sensibility with Dubai’s international character and energy. Its updated interiors and facilities will provide a contemporary expression while remaining rooted in the principles established when the hotel first opened.
Armani legacy
Armani Hotel Dubai features 160 rooms and suites, alongside a collection of dining experiences and Armani/SPA. The property was conceived around Giorgio Armani’s concept of the “Hospitality of Style”, with his influence extending across the architecture, interiors, furnishings and guest experience.

The hotel’s service model is built around personalised attention and an emphasis on ease and intimacy, complemented by interiors shaped by precision and understated refinement.
The Dubai property forms part of Armani Hotels & Resorts, which also includes Armani Hotel Milano in the heart of Milan’s fashion district. Both hotels reflect Giorgio Armani’s approach to combining design, intuitive service and a strong sense of place.
The Dubai transformation marks a new stage for Armani Hotels & Resorts as the brand continues to evolve its hospitality offering. Within Burj Khalifa, the renewed property will retain its connection to Giorgio Armani’s original design language while introducing updated spaces across accommodation, dining, wellness, events and outdoor facilities.
